247 - Francis Niblett: St Mary, Fretherne, Glos, 1846-47.


                     Designed in 1846 by Francis Niblett, (1814-83), a local architect. 
                     South aisle and Tierney chapel added by J.W.Hugall, in 1857-59, 
                            and the Darrell chapel also by Hugall in 1866. 
                     Stained glass mostly George Rogers of Worcester, but the four
                            angels in the Darell chapel are by James Powell & Sons. 
                     Fretherne is a hamlet between Frampton on Severn and 
                            Arlingham, 10 miles west of Stroud, Glos.

246 - S.S.Teulon: St Giles, Uley, Glos, 1857-58.



                     Designed in 1857 by Samuel Sanders Teulon, (1812-73).  
                     Uley is a village 2.5 miles east of Dursley, Glos, and the church is 
                           in the main street, at GL11 5SN
