158 - Edward Welby Pugin: Our Lady & St Thomas of Canterbury, Northanmpton, R.C. Cathedral, 1840-64.

                   Commenced by A. W. N. Pugin, but mostly designed by his son Edward 
                        Welby Pugin, 1834-75, pupil of his father. Further alterations 1948-55, by 
                        Albert Herbert. 
                   The cathedral is in Kingsthorpe Road, about three quarters of a mile north of 
                        the city centre.
