I passed this church on my bike yesterday afternoon (10 01 2021) and really liked its vigour and originality. Couldn't go in because of the pandemic, but it made me look up Bassett Keeling. Interesting.Coincidentally, I am reading Osbert Lancaster's "Pillar to Post" (1938) in which, in common with the thinking of his generation, he savages all but light-hearted "Gothick" revivals.
